LANmark-6A Slimflex Uniboot Patch Cords

Application

LANmark-6A Slimflex cords are designed to support 10 Gigabit Ethernet and other Class EA applications in high density environments. They are specified to 500MHz and are matched with LANmark-6A cable and connectors to provide full Class EA Channel configurations.

Due to their thin AWG30 stranded conductors and small outer diameter of only 4.5mm Slimflex cords offer increased flexibility and can save up to 44% space compared to regular Category 6A patch cords.

Equipped with a slim but robust boot with long latch protector, Slimflex cords support high density patching whilst facilitating easy cord removal. The prefitted black latch protector is removable and can be replaced with a coloured version, allowing colour coding of different services or applications.

Performance

LANmark-6A Slimflex cords, in conjunction with LANmark-6A cable and connectors, support all Class EA Channel configurations, as specified in TIA-568.2-D and ISO 11801, up to a total channel length of 96m, with 90m horizontal cable and max. 3m cords at either end.

Longer lengths of Slimflex cords can be supported, if the horizontal cable length is reduced according to an insertion loss ratio of 2.5, with a maximum combined length of 15m Slimflex cords.

Guarantees

When installed in combination with LANmark-6A cable and connectors, a 25 years Channel warranty can be obtained, covering full 10GBase-T support and Class EA compliance.

Usage

• Outer jacket is LSZH, standard colour is White. Other colours are available on request.
• Standard lengths are 1, 2, 3 and 5m. Other lengths are available on request.
• Up to 3m Slimflex cords at either end will support full Class EA Channel performance. Up to 15m combined length of Slimflex cords can be supported in Channel configurations when reducing the horizontal cable length according to a 2.5 derating factor.
